DOCTORS and TREATMENT COORDINATORS
NOT for all-team attendance

Ideal forstudy clubs and small groups

This is a terrific, cutting-edge half-day workshop for small groups of doctors and treatment coordinators - ideal for groups that are focused on fine-tuning communication among general dentists, specialists and patients.  The goal of the meeting is to increase understanding of the benefits of the Interdisciplinary approach to care, especially in comprehensive cases.

The session starts with traditional lecture focused on clarifying the differences between Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary care. Extensive research forms the basis of this segment with insights gained in interviews with interdisciplinary gurus and perspectives from patients who have experienced multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary treatments.  Participants learn what it takes to effectively interview the patient, present the treatment plan and communicate with other offices.  The second part of the program is totally interactive and in workshop format.  Participants form small groups to discuss challenges, develop communication techniques and apply newly learned concepts.

This program is crucial for practices and organizations that want to increase their understanding of Interdisciplinary treatment with a goal of providing comprehensive care to select patients.  The session is foundational for any doctor or study club that seeks clarification of Interdisciplinary communication and process.
